Back from Texas, going to Germany

Well, just got back from Texas with Janice Rasmussen. We looked for a place for the groom's supper and she found a wonderful Christian ranch, like Ironwood Springs Christian Ranch, but with a very distinctive Texas flair. Had a great time with Sarah's family, Daniel is very blessed to be loved so much by this new family of his. Went to eat at the Fort Worth Stockyards, got some Dublin Dr.Pepper, it was the full out Texas experience!!!

Now we are packed, and ready to go to Germany. Cathy is taking us to the airport, we fly from Milwaukee to Atlanta, to Stuttgart. See you in Germany!!!

count-down begins

We have two weeks until we leave, but next week, I am going with Janice Rasmussen to Texas for a bridal shower for Daniel's new bride-to-be!!I will be leaving next Wednesday, Janice and I will take off on Thursday, drive to Dallas area, then back home on Monday nite. Tuesday will be last minute things and Wednesday, June 30th we go!! So, we are getting things as ready as we can. We are looking for some American gifts, and Neil's work gave us a bunch of Saris tee shirts!! Thank you so much!! We found some pretty nice Christian themed tee shirts on sale for 75% off, that's our price!! So God has been kind in letting us come across these fun deals. We are collecting some candy, little gifts, some fun skit props much like getting ready for TEC. Our neighbors even helped out with some Hawaiian leuis!!! It is in the fun little touches that God's love come thru so clearly!!

New things all the time!!

This is the start of our adventure, starting our own blog!! We are hoping to keep it updated with what we are doin, and some pictures of where we have been. We will see if we can keep this up for the duration of the trip. Let us know what you think of our first new adventure of the summer!!
